Comment: Its been a year in Melbourne and away from home. I thought it wud be like a self desired exile but after getting BAV within reach, I can feel d vibration and warmth of my home Kolkata. I thank all d hard working hands for d initiative and inventiveness behind d success of our own association and also appreciate d effort behind this website which helps us to feel that we are not much far off from home. Comment: I will be visiting Melbourne during Durga Puja this year. Thanks to BAV. I will surely attend Maha Astami puja there. Hope to make some new friends. I have one question. Is any Australian allowed there? Actually I do have my Australian uncle there who is very keen about Bengali culture and literature. He has been staying Kolkata for one half of every year since 1980 and who is an author. I would like to thank BAV for making this beautiful website.

Comment: I visited BAV Durga Puja 2009 this time for both Saturday and Sunday, while the decoration was good and the cultural soirees were nice, it was a pain to see the mismanagement of distribution of foods. While Guests found food trays empty, I found that some ppl were taking the same food out through backdoor. Shame on you Debasish, Goutam etc. Pls understand this is a voluntary job, so pls resign if you are unable to donate your time and effort and let some others come in.

Comment: It was a pleasure to be present at the Melbourne Durgapuja again. I found it to be very well organized. I was surprised at the large attendance on both days, particularly on Saturday when attendance was perhaps over 2000. To manage such an event- along with all the ritual, cultural and dining arrangements- alongside professional and family life requires significant commitment and effort. I congratulate all the committee members, and others who helped organize the puja for their efforts. You all should feel proud.

Comment: Dear Shanta Nu..etctc voluntary actually means you could also give a hand in the food managment and other areas where you thought it is mismanaged, so before opening your yapper first do something for BAV...as for the committee very well done guys I know there were some mishaps here and there but it is not possible to control every aspect properly congratuations
